The team behind USWE grew up on dirt bikes, searching for the toughest terrain and going as far out in the boondocks as our bikes would take us. They called us “shit diggers”. We stuffed our backpacks with enough food, water and tools to keep us and our bikes going until dawn. The packs that were out there just weren’t up to our riding adventures; the shoulder straps got ripped off, the buckle-holders cracked, the water bladders got nasty and tasted anything but water. Worst of all, the packs bounced around like “dancing monkeys” on our sore backs and took some of the fun out of riding. That frustration led us to develop our own hydration pack prototype back in 2007. Today we are a strong dedicated team that understands the importance of a monkey proof pack and a high-end hydration system to be able to peak performance. That’s why athletes and weekend warriors are joining the USWE family.
